The Strong Women Podcast

Episode 16: Anya Hayes

Today’s guest is Anya Hayes. Anya is a Pilates instructor, author, and public speaker specialising in pregnancy and post-natal care.

With 4 books under her belt she is a woman on a mission to help other women understand their bodies and how pregnancy affects us. Her career path is so interesting and I love how she has turned some really quite dark times into happiness, and built a career around something she is so utterly passionate about.

Anya gives some great advice for expectant mothers, new mothers and those who had babies years ago, but a lot of this advice is applicable to all women. We need to be more open about discussing pelvic floor issues, and a lot of this begins with simply being able to say the word vagina without squirming, and we shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help when we think we need it.

Hopefully this podcast will help you be the expert on you! Enjoy.
