Our hand-picked team of female, highly-qualified instructors are some of London’s most experienced fitness professionals. All of our instructors are both Reformer & Mat Pilates, and PT qualified.

Founder Hollie Grant has worked incredibly hard to ensure that no matter who you train with you will receive the same level of expertise and knowledge to assist, encourage, and support you throughout your time training with us.

Training tailored to your body goals

To ensure that your personal training at Pilates PT is tailored, safe, and results-driven, we want to know as much as possible about your body, your background, your goals, and your motivations.

This is why every new personal training client will complete a 90-minute in-depth consultation with us, during which we will:

• Record crucial body statistics using the revolutionary InBody ‘Body Composition Scanner’
• Take your blood pressure
• Carry out a postural analysis
• Assess your injury background
• Get to know your goals, diet, and personal preferences

A totally private workout space within London's top luxury hotel

We know that privacy is important to many of our clients and therefore we only allow one client to train in our studio at any time. This means no sharing, or waiting for equipment, you have your instructors undivided attention and you can feel safe in the knowledge that no-one else will see you workout.

Our studio, set o! the Mandarin Orientals’ fitness suite, contains a Reformer Pilates bed, treadmill, TRX, weights and small equipment plus a private consultation room and is used for all sessions of Reformer Pilates and The Pilates PT Method.

Whilst we appreciate that you come to us to train, we also want to make sure that you not only enjoy yourself, but you feel supported, listened to and not judged. The Pilates PT team has been created with this in mind.

We will support you, refer you to our network of wellness professionals (if needed), and, most importantly we will not judge you or shame you and will certainly not encourage faddy diets or exercise regime’s. All abilities, ages, shapes, and sizes are welcome at Pilates PT.

The Pilates PT Method®

Created by PT and Pilates expert Hollie Grant, our signature workout ‘The Pilates PT Method’ is an effective, results-led combination of high intensity interval training (HIIT), reformer Pilates, weight training and plyometrics.

HIIT is an effective way of lowering visceral body fat and reducing the risk of diabetes and heart disease, whilst Pilates boosts strength and flexibility.

Reformer pilates

Reformer Pilates, created by Joseph Pilates, is an effective, safe and reliable workout that builds strength, improves posture, and increases flexibility.

Often advised by Physiotherapists, Reformer Pilates is carried out on a Reformer Pilates machine, comprising a moving carriage controlled by weighted springs and a pulley system.

At Pilates PT, following a postural analysis during your first session with us, we will work to reduce your muscle imbalances, help you move and feel better, and help you build a stronger, more flexible body.

Traditional personal training

If you would rather experience a more ‘traditional’ version of Personal Training you have the option of using the Mandarin Orientals’ luxury gym for your session. This will involve both cardiovascular and strength based exercises using Technogym equipment.

Whether your goal is to boost strength, improve your fitness levels or hone your skills in a particular sport our instructors will tailor your session to your needs. Please note these sessions are on the gym floor, not within our private Pilates PT studio.

Pre and Postnatal pilates

Whether you are currently pregnant, recently gave birth, or have been advised by
your doctor that you have post-natal fitness requirements, we have a team of pre & postnatal instructors that can help. Our all-female team have worked with countless pre & postnatal clients, have heard everything, and can safely advise and train you throughout this changeable period.

Whether your goals are to have an active labour, reduce a diastasis recti issue or simply get your fitness back post labour we have the knowledge and team to assist.
